Interest

My interests have always been centered around the outdoors. Growing up in Bend, Oregon I was shaped to live and love everything outside from biking, climbing, skiing to rafting. This passion for outdoor activities was a driving factor for my decision to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. While living in Colorado my passion for film and my love of skiing quickly began to mesh and that is when I met Andrew Mildenberger.

Andrew was a fenomenal filmmaker with the same passion for skiing that I had. He approached me with an idea to take a year off from school and make a ski film with our other friends based in Colorado but filmed all over the world. This idea turned into what is now the production company Strictly, which Andrew and Gavin Rudy are still progressing each year turning out better and better ski films.

After school my life changed and I moved away from the outdoors and started a new chapter. I lived in LA, chasing the film dream while working at a studio called Stept. Stept, like Strictly, started as a ski company but now makes world class commercials and documentaries across the globe.

After my time in LA, I returned back to Colorado to continue working in film. Currently, I am the Assistant Creative Director and Cinematographer for Denver based clothing company, Jiberish.
